“I was lucky enough to spend a period of my life in Japan. There I attended some calligraphy lessons and it was a discovery within a discovery. Even today I continue to practice that art, trying to find their essence in those slow and precise gestures. The Ensō, the symbol of the circle, fascinated me in particular for what it represents, illumination, completeness, everything, nothing.
